A visit to your doctor's office can be a disconcerting experience. Many physicians face severe time constraints. Most of us have had the sense of our doctor needing, but not wanting, to hurry out of the exam room to see the next patient-this can be especially true in emergency departments in hospitals. You may be left with a prescription for yourself or a loved one.
