Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine should be taken orally. It is formulated as a capsule or tablet. This medicine is taken twice per day in the morning and the evening. You should take each dose with a full glass of water. Take this medication exactly like your doctor prescribed never take more. If your symptoms are not being adequately treated, talk to your doctor.
Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine should be stored at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C, in a container that small children cannot open. Protect from moisture. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.

You should not take Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it. Do not take Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine close to a dose of an antacid that contains aluminum or magnesium such as Rolaids, Maalox, Mylanta, Milk of Magnesia, Pepcid Complete, and others. These antacids may decrease the effects of Allegra.
This medication should not be taken by children younger than 6 years of age. The active ingredient of Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine (Fexofenadine) will harm an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have any serious illness such as heart, kidney, or liver disease. You may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment if you have other illnesses.

If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. If you did not take the medicine for one day skip the dose and go back to your regular schedule. Don't take a double dose the following day.

Symptoms of overdose may include weakness, sweating, nausea and vomiting, an irregular heartbeat, headache, restlessness, increased thirst and drowsiness. If you overdose with Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine contact your local poison control center immediately.

Side effects of Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine are reversible. But like any medicine, Generic Allegra-Fexofenidinemay may cause some unwanted effects.
Talk to your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur: feeling of warmth; difficult or labored breathing; large, hive-like swelling on face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, sex organs; redness of the face;shortness of breath; chest tightness.
Less common such effect may occur but in this case you don't need medical assistance. These side effects are: ringing or buzzing in ears; stomach upset; swollen joints; pain or tenderness around eyes or cheekbones; muscle pains or stiffness; coughing; loss of voice; difficulty in moving; nasal congestion; muscle aching or cramping; unusual feeling of tiredness or weakness;joint pain; earache; sore throat; drowsiness; headache; pain in arms or legs; runny or stuffy nose; nausea; painful menstrual bleeding; sneezing; dizziness; back pain; chills; body aches or pain; fever; ear congestion; viral infection (such as cold and flu).
The side effects, which are very rare are: terrifying dreams; trouble sleeping; nervousness; sleeplessness; rash.

If you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) in the last 14 days you should not take Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine.
If you are taking a heart medication such as digoxin (Lanoxin, Lanoxicaps), reserpine (Serpasil), or methyldopa (Aldomet); or caffeine, amphetamines, decongestants, or diet pills tell to your doctor. You may not be able to take Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine. Do not take Generic Allegra close to a dose of an antacid that contains aluminum or magnesium such as Rolaids, Maalox, Mylanta, Milk of Magnesia, Pepcid Complete, and others. These antacids may decrease the effects of Allegra D.

Use Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine with caution if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, increased pressure in the eyes, prostate problems, or hyperthyroidism. Stop using it and check with your doctor if it causes nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness.
Fruit juices such as grapefruit, orange and apple may reduce the bioavailability and exposure of Generic Allegra-Fexofenidine.
